When we started flowmotioncast in early 2024, we knew budget automation would work better if we collaborated with organizations that already understood their communities. Banks know their customers. Educational institutions understand their students. Business associations grasp what their members actually need.
So instead of trying to be everything to everyone, we focused on building connections with partners who could help us create solutions that actually fit people's lives.

I spend most of my time listening to what partners actually need versus what we think they need. Started in community banking, moved to fintech, joined flowmotioncast because the team seemed genuinely interested in building useful stuff.
My job is making our technology play nicely with whatever systems partners already have. Every organization has unique technical setups, and forcing them to change everything rarely works. Better to adapt.
I work with universities and training organizations to help them incorporate budget automation into their financial education programs. Teaching tools need to be simple enough for students but robust enough to remain useful after they graduate.
